Hobbithouses

As a huge Fan of Hobbiton, I built my first Hobbithole in 2015 - which weighted about 6 kilos! It was made of polystyrene, tyle-cement, lots of modeling clay, moss, stones, a plastic-bonsai, some toothpicks and more.

Im Jahr 2015 habe ich mein erstes Hobbithaus aus Styprophor, jeder Menge Fliesenkleber, Modelliermasse, Moos, Steinen, einem Kunst-Bonsai, Zahnstochern usw gebastelt. Das fertige Projekt brachte stolze 6 Kilo auf die Waage.

From big to small. Years passed and my hobbitholes became smaller, lighter and really compact! The ones I build today are sticked onto a 12cm wide woodslice and made from modeling-clay, miniature plants and some acrylic colors. 

Von Groß zu Klein. Die Jahre vergingen und meine Hobbithäuser wurden kleiner, leichter und handlicher. Heute bestehen sie aus Modelliermasse, Acrylfarbe und Miniatur-Pflanzen und Streumaterial. Die kleinen Häuschen sind auf 12cm großen Holzplatten gebaut.

Time for something new! Experimenting with modeling clay brought some new sculptures were put forth: mainly Dragon-Hatchlings. Let's see what future brings ;)


Zeit für etwas Neues! Das Experimentieren mit Modelliermasse brachte einige neue Wesen zum Vorschein: Hauptsächlich sind es Baby-Drachen. Mal sehen, was die Zukunft noch bringt ;)
